Our Mission
at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care
In 2002, Rob Christiansen purchased his century old hometown funeral home in Greenville, and by listening to what families told him he responded to society's changing beliefs about funerals by founding Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care in Grand Rapids in 2008.
Understanding that funeral costs had become excessive, we established the first of it's kind business in Michigan that offers everything your neighborhood mortuary does... except for the high prices. By focusing on providing simple and stress-free cremation, funeral, and burial options, we are able to offer our services to families at a savings of 40-80% less than other area funeral homes.
While our facilities are fully equipped and inspected funeral establishments that are staffed by caring, licensed professionals, you'll discover that we don't look, act or charge like a traditional funeral home. We believe you should be able to pay your respects without spending your life savings and invite you to experience our difference and a new approach to funeral and cremation services.
