I waited on Ted and his wife Clara for many years. He was always so nice to see and a pleasure to wait on. He will be missed by many.

Ted was a good friend of my parents. He also was a very good farmer. He was always a pleasure to talk to as he was very easy going and had time for everyone. His leadership roles at the County level were always mindful of the best interests of his fellow citizens. He made the world a better place.

We had the pleasure of knowing Ted through Clara. He attended countless Archway Cookie functions and was always generous with his time and kind to everyone. While Ted enjoyed flying under the radar in his own soft-spoken way, he would often flash his razor-sharp and very dry humor at just the appropriate moment. We remember him as a truly unique and special guy.

Tom Sr. highly respected Ted, and shared with us a plethora of stories about him, including one we vaguely remember about skydiving. Dad truly appreciated Ted’s robust zest for life and warmth toward others.

It was easy to see that Ted and Clara were each other’s better halves. We love them both and still gratefully think of them often.

With love, many wonderful memories, and apologies for not posting sooner.
