Roseline W. (Meyers) Hoag, age 77, of Cutlerville, Michigan, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, March 26, 2023. She was born December 3, 1945, in Grand Rapids, to the late Fredrick and Orpha (Clason) Meyers. Roseline married the love of her life, Francis Arthur Hoag on December 18, 1982.

Although Roseline never left the state of Michigan, she thoroughly enjoyed traveling. She would often recall fond memories of travel to Sault St. Marie, Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth. She enjoyed watching animals, and tending to her plants and flower garden. She was an avid painter, specializing in animals and nature scenes. Rose could often be found looking around stores, admiring art and collecting coins.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Francis Hoag; sister, Gail Washburn; children, Chatelle Osterbaan and Francis (Crystal) Hoag II; grandchildren, and step grandchildren, William (Grace) Brandt, Victoria Brandt, Elizabeth (Zach) Beckley, Antionette Brandt, Gabrielle (Mike) Gardner, Olivia Averill, Virginia Averill, Amanda (Darick) Sevenski, Edwin (Tiffany) Osterbaan II, Joshua Osterbaan, Matthew Osterbaan, London Hoag, Dallas Hoag and Brooklyn Hoag; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Orpha (Clason) Meyers; and son, Fredrick Averill.

Per Roseline’s wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Valley View Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for their help and compassion throughout this difficult time.
