Robert Earle McCarthy, age 89, of Belding, formerly of Greenville, passed away at home.  The son of Edward James & Lawava A. (Slack) McCarthy, he was born on December 8, 1930 and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Committal services, with full military honors, will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, at a later date.
