Robert Allen Taylor, age 71, of Hastings, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
He was born on October 30, 1948, in Grand Rapids, to the late Bertrand & Lillie (Waggoner) Taylor.
Bob graduated from Union High School where he was a member of the ROTC. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea and Germany.
He worked as a TV Repairman for his parents at B & L Televion, was an electrician for Mollars, Sackner Products and Progressive Blast.
Bob enjoyed riding motorcycles, bowling, was a member of the West Michigan Modelers Association, golfed in the St. James Couples Golf League and the Television Dealers Association Golf League.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Mercer; siblings, Ron, Russ, Barb Newsom, Terri (Ken) Miller and Sandy Gottschalk; many aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Avenue), Grand Rapids, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm. Interment will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 27, at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.

It’s a very sad day today but Bob is no longer in pain or suffering he’s dancing with the Angels today sorry for your loss.
