Reuben Mosqueda, age 74, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Sparta, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. He was born November 21, 2020, in Edinburg, Texas to the late Jose and Candida (Lopez) Mosqueda. Reuben proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by six siblings and their families.

When I called Robert to get Reuben’s phone number, I was taken aback to earn that he had died the same day as my daughter,Misty. Reuben was kind to animals. He could be infuriating and he could be kind and gentle to those who cared. I often think of the large extended Mosqueda family. I remember his son, Tony.
