Paul Green was born the third of 15 children to Patricia and Leo Green of Holland Michigan on November 12, 1951.

A life-long resident of Holland Michigan, many friends and relatives have called his house “home” throughout the years.  Paul was the type of man who would do anything for anyone and spent his life constantly aspiring to be the kind of man he felt God wanted him to be.  He grew throughout his life in patience, faith, and love.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters Ann Marie Green and Patricia Davis and his best friend and housemate Jan Decker.   He is survived by his sisters and brothers Kathleen and Tom Fox, Thomas Green, John (Linda) Green, Michael Green, Joseph Green, Marie Hayes, Timothy Green, Margaret Wabeke, Mary and Dan Buck, Frances and Emilio Garcia, James Green, and Teresa and Jerry Hollis.  He is also survived by his daughter, Cynthia Provo and his canine baby Zoe who will spend the rest of her days with her Aunt Fran.

Paul’s daughter wishes to thank David Mc Neely for his friendship and support to her father in his final years. He was truly a friend in faith and a great support system in bringing him to appointments in Grand Rapids. Your support in his final hours will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time.

Brother Paul was a good man. Attending New Richmond Baptist Church services when his health would allow as well as the Monday Morning Men’s Fellowship for several years. It was apparent that Paul desired to know and grow closer to the Lord Jesus Christ in the years he attended the church. We are glad to understand of his faith in Christ as Saviour and rejoice in knowing we will see one another again someday based upon that faith. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. If we can ever be of assistance, please feel free to contact us.
