Myron Lee Edgerton, age 94, of Coopersville, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Friday, June 30, 2023.  He was born May 23, 1929, in Wilsey, Kansas, to the late George and Ethel (Jennings) Edgerton. Myron graduated from Eskridge High School with the class of 1937.  Myron married the love of his life, Frances Kay George on December 24, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas, they had 6 children and celebrated 63 years of marriage before Frances passed away on June 15, 2013.

Myron proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Myron was an avid pool player and was on 3 different leagues before his passing.  He also bowled and played table tennis for a large portion of his life.  He enjoyed wood working and learning new things and was passionate about teaching others.

Myron is survived by his 6 children, Georgia Edgerton, Lanny Edgerton, Kim (Edgerton) Begley, Jan Edgerton, Dee (Edgerton) Jackson and her husband Charles and Lee Edgerton and his wife Sarah.  He is also survived by his Brother Frederic Joseph (Joe) Edgerton and 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; his parents; a brother, J Owen Edgerton and a sister, Jennie (Edgerton) Knight.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life is being planned and details will be posted as soon as they become available.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Corewell Hospice for their care and compassion throughout this difficult time.

    Jan and Family,
