Murle was a social butterfly where she lived at Heron Manor, involved in all their activities with all her very dear close friends.  She loved to needle point, crochet, listen to her music, and loved watching the birds.  She made the best coconut cream pie and home made hot fudge.  Her most favorite time spent, was with her family, cherishing every minute.  She will be so very sadly missed.

We are so sorry to hear the news. So many great memories of parties, cooking for the parties, dancing, beaches and work bees together with the Rekeny family. I remember Murle and Duke singing at Aldersgate church and was so impressed. So glad we had her over for dinner and singing karaoke a couple years ago. Rest In Peace Murle. Singing again with Duke❤️

Murle was a kind lady with a great smile, hearty laugh and a big heart. I was fortunate enough to work with her for one year at The Bride and Card Shop in downtown Grand Rapids, which was owned by my mom, Nancy Griner. It was my first year in retail sales and Murle was always so helpful and kind as I learned the ropes. She and my mom became good friends and I remember her and Duke coming over to my parents’ house many times to share a drink out on the patio. We lost touch with them over the years and I am saddened to learn just now of their passing. My deepest sympathies to your family. They were both wonderful people.
