Beloved Husband, Michael passed away at home on January 27, 2022, with his devoted wife, Rosalinda, at his side.

Michael was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 17, 1962, to the late Alberto Cuellar Jr. and Erlinda (Garza) Montalvo. He was 59 years old.  He and his wife, Rosalinda, married on May 31, 2014, and had a blended and extended family. He was a step-father and grand-father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.  More importantly, he was a “Child of God.”

By the grace of God, Michael lived, and by His grace, he died.  Michael was a loving and dedicated Husband.  He was employed at Grandville Printing in Grandville, Michigan.  Michael enjoyed working on his house, in his yard, and looking after the trees and flowers he planted.  He also enjoyed swimming, Kayaking, and listening to oldies and worship music.  Michael made his house a “Home”.   He Volunteered where called serving the kingdom of God.   His most favorite time of all was spending time with family, especially the great-nephews and nieces and his furbaby, Sheba.

Surviving is his wife, Rosalinda; blended family of 3 step-children, Cisco, Erica and Mercedes; 3 sisters, Theresa Cuellar (late Benito Gonzalez), Christina (Hijinio, Jr) Urivez, and Romona Garcia; 1 brother, Frederico Cuellar; 2 nieces; 5 nephews; several great-nephews and great-nieces; 5 step-grand-daughters; 1 great-grand-daughter; several aunts, uncles and cousins…. too many to name, but were all so LOVED by Him; and one special niece, close to his heart, Angelina Cuellar-Rivera.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a going home “Celebration of Life” will be held February 8, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Grand Rapids First Church, 2100 44th Street S.W., Wyoming, MI 49519.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of my childhood friend Michael. We had such a fun time growing up and playing ball together in little league. Mike was a natural at catcher! Fred, you were such a good brother to him and he was so proud of you. I hope all is well with the Cuellar family as well as the Reyna family too! God Bless and may we all see you again someday, Mike.
