Matthew Alan Parish, age 30, of Comstock Park, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020.
He was born on a beautiful, sunny day on July 24, 1990, in Grand Rapids.
Matthew adored animals since he was a little boy, he was always quick with a silly joke, and loved the outdoors. He had aspirations to become a welder and had a great imagination. His ultimate happiness was spending time with his son Isaac and his family. Matthew was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his son, Isaac Weiss; parents, Mark & Teresa Parish; three siblings, Kyle, Mark, and Sarah; and too many friends to count.
The Remembrance of Matthew Parish will be held on Friday August 28th, 2020 at 5:30 PM, at Long Lake Park, 13650 Long Lake Dr., Sparta. Food and refreshments are provided after the service, we encourage people to speak about his kind nature and remember the good.

Matt I cry daily because you are no longer here with me. The loss is indescribable. I think of you all the time and I try with all my might to continue on. It is very difficult. Every day I feel the loss and miss you more with each passing day. You are a loving, compassionate man and you made me laugh a lot. We spent so much time together, but it will never be enough.
Christmas time is coming and without you here it won’t be the same and has never been the same since. You are loved more than you will ever know by many people. Isaac is growing up fast and he talks about you (Daddy). He misses you and puts love notes on your pictures in the house. You left me to early and my heart has literally been broken. I love you, Isaac loves you and the the rest of the family loves and misses you as well. Rest easy Matt and know you are always with me everyday and will be for the remainder of my life. Until my time comes and we are reunited, I will cherish every memory I have of you. Love you forever and then some.
