It’s so curious: One can resist tears and ‘behave” very well in the hardest hours of grief. But then someone makes you a friendly sign behind a window, or one notices that a flower that was in bud only yesterday has suddenly blossomed, or a letter slips from a drawer…and everything collapses.

Mary (mom) you will dearly missed and now at peace. I love you.

I worked in medical records with Mary at GVG. She always knew where things were supposed to go. She knew me and some of my sisters when we were kids. Mary was a funny lady. I used to call her “Laverne”, because she reminded me of Laverne from Laverne and Shirley. I still have the card she sent me from one of my summers in Colorado. It is so sad to know Mary is not around anymore, but I am so glad she is no longer in pain. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
