Martin Lee Heckman, 69, passed away June 19, 2020. He was born on July 17, 1950; the son of Martin Heckman and Ardeth (Ashley) Brenner.
Marty had a talent for drawing, and doing art work. He also had a gift for making walking canes; and he loved to watch old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Marlene Boyle; nephew, Aaron Heckman; brother, Roger Brenner; and step-father, Marvin Brenner. Marty is survived by siblings, Deb & Robert Newbre, Pam & Jim Sikkema, and Pete & Jody Heckman; sister-in-law, Madalen Brenner; and many other nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Cancer Center Treatments of America, or the Kalamazoo Humane Society, in honor of Marty.

So sorry to hear of Marty’s passing. You meet people in life that leave a lasting memory in your brain. I remember Marty and his twin sister Marlene from my childhood years. My thoughts and Prayers go out to Pete and the rest of the Heckman family. Our paths in life may have parted but my memories of friends have stayed within me. May GOD Bless you with health and happiness.
