Leslie Ann Dwyer, age 62, of Lansing, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2022 at her home under the loving care of her family and Sparrow Home Hospice.  The daughter of Joseph Richard & Elizabeth Ann (Zolinski) Walczak, she was born on August 1, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Lansing Community College. Leslie, through the course of her career life, was involved in office management, accounting, retail operations, and house cleaning.

On November 11, 2000, she married Thomas Edward Dwyer and together they enjoyed almost twenty-one years of marriage until Tom passed away just a year ago on June 14, 2021. Leslie was Tom’s caretaker as he battled cancer for nearly 10 years.

A devoted wife and mother, Leslie enjoyed her cooking and shopping. Leslie’s biggest joy was spent in keeping up with her 20+ grandchildren. Her dogs were a major part of her life and giving them the best care possible brought her lots of happiness. Leslie could never leave the house without looking her Sunday best, she was a real lady. Her attention to detail and the needs of others were always before herself.

The Deneau family never cease to amaze me. They live for God and show it in so many ways. God allows things in life to come their way. And they all turn around showing God how much they love him through it all. May God give you all extra blessings through this very difficult time. Love Miss Becky

Aunt was always full of energy and life. She lit up any room especially with her great blue eye shadow. She was a fantastic baker and cook. I remember many time making polish cookies at her house and having a blast. We would jam in the car to Garth Brooks and always have a good time. She loved family, bowling and hosting others. She had such a big heart and will be forever in ours. Love you Aunt Leslie – we have gained another Angel in the sky.

Leslie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a special part of our family. She adored each of her grandkids. She brought a smile to your face whenever she was around. She loved deeply and was an exceptional caregiver. I will forever be grateful for all the love and care she has shown to our family! We love you and miss you so much already!
