Kimberly Ann (Kalbfleisch) Boutell, age 59, of Lake Ann, Michigan, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. She was born May 20, 1963, in Charleston, South Carolina to her parents, Sandy (Irish) Sanford and Orval Kalbfleisch.
Survivors include her mother, Sandy (Ivan) Sanford; father, Orval (Marion) Kalbfleisch; her 4 children, Joshua Dean (Victoria Wherry), Angela Core, Sabrina (Sam) Watts, and Janina (Devin) Wagner-Glazier; 16 grandchildren, Antoine, Vincent, Mckenzie, Lynsey, Morgan, Hunter, Kolten, Mason, Carson, Malachi, Reigha, Kohen, Myles, Libby, Lakelynn and Tessa; 4 great-grandchildren, Noella, Jamison, Aubriella and Maverick; 8 brothers, Randy, Rob (Shannon), Jeff (Edie), and Joe (Michelle) Kalbfleisch and Jim (Antia), Jay (Barb), Jodie (Maria) and John Irish; sister, Rebecca (Doug) Schaub; 6 step-brothers, Rodney, Doug, and Paul Lover and Mark (Tracy), Mike (Patty), Jason Sanford; 3 step-sisters, Michelle (Lover) Hancock, Melissa Noel, and Amanda (Eric) Wilkins; her childhood best friend and life companion, Timothy Maeder whom she loved dearly; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kim was most happy when she was with her children and grandchildren. She loved them all deeply and she will be missed by them greatly. She loved being outdoors, you could find her most summers laying in the sun down by the river or at a lake swimming. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and Dale Jr. fan. Kim loved music, mostly country and loved to sing. In her younger years she would play tambourine to most any song. Throughout the years she attended Grace Bible Church of Muskegon, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Milt “Papa” Irish; maternal grandparents, Velma and Ernest “papa daddy” Ward; maternal great-grandparents, Bertha and Chester Hughey; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Eva Kalbfleisch; and 2 nephews, Tyson Kalbfleisch and Blake Schaub.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the Kings Court Community Room 1585 Ray Blvd, Traverse City, MI 49686 off LaFranier Road, with Pastor David Schoonbeck officiating.
Flowers are appreciated and donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Kim’s honor to help the fight against Alzheimer’s.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Kym ,I have fond memories of growing up with her , we had so much fun when our families got together , my prayers go out to all who loved and knew her ,extra hugs to her parents ,loosing a child is the hardest thing a parent will ever go thru .
