Kevin J. Vonlinsowe, age 55, of Muskegon, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, surrounded by his family.


He was born on April 17, 1966, in Los Angeles, CA, to Gary Chase & Roseanna Vonlinsowe.


Kevin was known for his strong work ethic and proudly worked for Superior Asphalt for over 18 years.


He married Elizabeth Vonlinsowe on January 21, 2006.


Kevin enjoyed flying planes, jumping out of planes, all things aviation, and riding roller coaster’s.  He was a true “adrenaline junky”.


He put his family first.  Always working hard to provide and care for them.  He enjoyed being with his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.


Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; children, Mike (Misty) Montalvo, Tawni (Mike) Passenier, Joey (Courtney) Whipple and Melinda (Cody) Hampton; granchildren, Kayden, Angeline, Kiley, Michael, Hunter, Sweet Pea, Jaiike, Silas and Brooklynn; nephew, Kyle Hathaway.


He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Cal.


Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue SE, Grand Rapids.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday.

    Dear Elizabeth and family,
    We are so deeply sorry for your loss, Kevin was a great man and it was a real pleasure knowing and working with him at Superior.
    Kevin always had a smile and kind word for all…..and always wanted to get the job done right.
    He was strong and gentle….and always friendly….a bunch of good all wrapped into one man.
