Dad
Lord rest your soul.
I made it back to NM in the RV on Memorial Day. Hardly seems possible that I’ve lived away from Michigan for 37 years. I have a wonderful family here because of your caring love from afar over the years. Your winter trips down here to NM were always highly anticipated by Ry and Sarah, as well as Cathy and I. I loved our NM elk and oryx hunts together. The two busy bees you and mom have always been have our home here looking beautiful. No thanks will ever be enough for your selfless handyman efforts over the winters down here. I have no doubt that your soft kind heart influenced generations to come.
Spending your last 3 weeks with you were priceless. We know you are in a better place and it gives all of us peace of mind knowing you made it there as you desired, at home with family.
Until we meet again, don’t forget to make those golf tee times on the golf course of your choice!
