To Jerry’s family my sympathies for all of you.
I remember Jerry from high school. He always said hi and greeted you with a smile! He would ask how games went or how thing were going. He was always up in the stands at our home games. I think he was like everyone’s extra Grandpa.
After graduating, I would run into him here and there. He would ask how life was going. He would ask how my Dad’s horses were doing or any good ones coming up. I would see him and Mrs. Curry at Meijer. He would give me a hug and we would chat and catch up. He was always holding her hand. He loved her so much.
The last time I saw Jerry was at the reunion dinner a few years back. He gave me one of his hugs then we sat and talked for quite awhile…catching up. I would see him on his porch and wave.
I will miss seeing his big smile and his laugh. He was a great guy!!!
