Jason Noel Corporan-Soto, age 11, of Grand Rapids, passed on to the creator Christmas Day, December 25, 2019 at home. The son of Erica Denise Soto & Elvin Corporan, Jason Noel was born on April 11, 2008, in Grand Rapids and was currently a fifth grader at Lincoln Developmental Center.

Surviving are his mother, Erica Denise Soto;  his father, Elvin Corporan;  three brothers and a sister, Jaela Denise Corporan, Elvin Rafael Corporan,  Greyson Tobias Corporan, and Noah Carlos Corporan;  grandparents, Eugenio Soto-Ruiz & Miguelina Soto, and Martin & Bella Corporan;  great-grandparents, Norberto Llanera-Rodriguez, Rosa Gomez Aviles, and Carmen Ruiz Rosario; five aunts and an uncle, Milixabel Soto, Julia Soto, Angelica Soto, Edward Mejia, and Luisa Corporan; several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving aunt, Alejandra Elizabeth “Alex” Soto.

Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street, Grand Rapids, where the Rosary will be prayed beginning at 7:00 p.m. The family will also receive relatives and friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Shrine of St. Francis Xavier & Our Lady of Guadalupe,  250 Brown Street S.E., Grand Rapidswhere the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with the Rev. Father Jose Luis Quintana as celebrant.  Rite of committal will follow at Garfield Park Cemetery.

Hijo de Erica Denise Soto y Elvin Corporan, Jason Noel nació el 11 de abril de 2008 en Grand Rapids y actualmente era estudiante de quinto grado en el Centro de Desarrollo de Lincoln.

Sobreviven su madre, Erica Denise Soto; su padre, Elvin Corporan; tres hermanos y una hermana, Jaela Denise Corporan, Elvin Rafael Corporan, Greyson Tobias Corporan y Noah Carlos Corporan; abuelos, Eugenio Soto-Ruiz y Miguelina Soto, y Martin y Bella Corporan; bisabuelos, Norberto Llanera-Rodríguez, Rosa Gómez Avilés y Carmen Ruiz Rosario; cinco tías y un tío, Milixabel Soto, Julia Soto, Angélica Soto, Edward Mejia y Luisa Corporan; varias tías abuelas, tíos abuelos y primos. Le precedieron en la muerte su tía amorosa, Alejandra Elizabeth “Alex” Soto.

La visita es de 5-9 p.m. el lunes 30 de diciembre de 2019 en Funeraria de Michigan, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. en la calle 36, Grand Rapids, donde se rezará el rosario a partir de las 7:00 p.m. La familia también recibirá familiares y amigos a partir de las 9:00 a.m.del martes 31 de diciembre de 2019 en el Santuario de San Francisco Javier y Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, 250 Brown Street SE, Grand Rapids, donde se llevará a cabo la misa de entierro cristiano. se celebrará a las 10:00 am el martes, con el reverendo padre José Luis Quintana como celebrante. El rito de compromiso seguirá en el cementerio Garfield Park.

    Mis palabras jamás podrán llenar el vacío que tu partida ha dejado en el corazón de tus padres. Llegastes como un angelito y haz regresado al lado de nuestro señor de donde nunca saliste aun siendo un ángel. Pido a nuestro señor Jesús que enjugue las lagrimas de tus padres y les conseda el consuelo que ambos necesitan. Nos veremos otra vez.

    Descansa en Paz Jason, fuiste a reunirte con nuestro Padre celestial para ser un angel mas en su paraíso desde donde velaras por tus padres y hermanos. Se que no hay palabras para consolar a unos padres que pierden a un hijo, pero quiero que sepan que mi corazón también esta llorando por la perdida de su querido hijo. Mis oraciones están con toda la familia.
