James Lee Fox Sr., age 63, of Grand Rapids, Michigan gained his wings on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from natural causes. He was born, June 8, 1959, in Albion, MI to the late Richard and Alice (Newland) Fox.

Jim attended Hudsonville Public Schools and then found his passion for wood working.  In his free time Jim loved fishing with friends and family, playing the guitar, pool and poker.

Survivors include his children, Richard (Nikki) Fox, James (Christi) Fox, and Tabatha (Jaime) Benitez; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Connie Hammond; and many other friends and family.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life is being planned for a later date and details will be announced as soon as they become available.  Let’s take this time to remember Jim for The professional bass fisherman he was, being a jokester, hitting every music note good or bad, and his moves on the dance floor.
