Roger was a very special person at Christ Lutheran. He was a positive and supportive member and a valued choir and musical performance cast member in the Martin Luther Musical productions. He loved music and sang in the choir as long as he could. He communicated his support when he said he would do something, he followed through with it. He had a beautiful tenor voice and read music very well. I also remember him as a softball team member. Although I played on an opposing team at the time, he introduced himself and and loved playing the game With hhis sons. He will be missed.at CLC and his example inspired all of us.

Although I only had 4 years with Roger as my Father in Law, he holds a very special place in my heart! He welcomed me and my 3 kids to the family with open arms, like I’d been there forever!! I loved having him over many Sunday nights for dinner and to watch the Packers with Chris. I loved to hear him sing…so beautiful and to hear him laugh!! The love he showed for his wife Joan was amazing and beautiful and as well for all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren!! Roger, you will forever be missed and always in my heart ❤️

Roger was one of the “older” guys that I had so much respect and admiration for. He was an example as a father, grandfather, and a Man of God for me. God’s peace to his family and loved ones.
