Franklin Bolt, age 96, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Savior on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.
He was born on November 27, 1923, in Grand Rapids, to the late Joseph & Emma (Dorenbos) Bolt.
Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved spending time with his family.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II in the Eighth Air Force.
Frank worked at Dekker Bookbinders for 60 years.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Joyce (Houseman) Bolt; sons, William Bolt, Robert (Lea) Bolt and Ron (Peggy O’Neill) Bolt; grandchildren, Mason Bolt, Denee O’Neill, Nicholas & Brittney Bolt, Nicole (Mike) Gebben, Autumn O’Neill Bolt and Sierra O’Neill Bolt; great-grandchildren, Seth, Austyn, Kinsley, Franklin and Theodore.
Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Avenue), Grand Rapids, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery with full military honors rendered by Kent County Honor Guard and the United States Air Force.

God Bless his wife, Joyce and Family…Frank was a dear friend too us at the Lincoln Square Chapel..
He liked too pick on me and I liked too keep picking on him…The Lord wanted Frank home and
no more medical issues for him…May the Lord bless you all thru this time…Cherish the Memories
of Frank, Dad and Grandpa…We always thanked him for his service that he was proud too serve for
