Florinda (Cano Díaz) Monarrez, a sus 71 años de edad, en Wyoming, Michigan, se fue a la gloria y pasó con Dios y su esposo el Domingo 23 de Octubre del 2022. Nació el 14 de Abril del año 1951, en El Corazón, Tepehuanes, Durango, Mexico. Hija de Guadalupe y Petra (Díaz) Cano (D.E.P.D). Florida se casó con el amor de su vida, Feliciano Ricardo Monarrez, juntos criaron a cuatro hermosos hijos y celebraron 25 años de casados antes de que el falleciera el día 15 de Abril del año  2001.

Florinda era leal y de vota a la Iglesia Católica e inculcó ese amor a Jesús Cristo en cada uno de sus hijos y nietos. Era una mujer muy social que disfrutaba platicar con gente y también bailar, sin embargo, lo que ella más apreciaba era pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus nietos.

Sus cuatro hijos, Humberto (Marissa) Monarrez, Sandra (Amador) Ramos, Eddie (Kelly) Monarrez, y Alejandro (Jessica) Monarrez; nietos, Gilberto (Verónica), Natalia, Israel, Crystal, Isaías, Ricardo, Jayden, Abigail, Isaac, Elias e Itzel; hermanos Elvira, Nicolás, Guillermina, y Samuel; muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, primos y otros relativos y amigos.

Florinda procedió a la muerte junto a su esposo Feliciano, sus padres, y sus dos hermanos, David y Gilberto.

Florinda (Cano Diaz) Monarrez, age 71, of Wyoming, Michigan, went to be with the Lord and to spend eternity with her husband on Sunday, October 23, 2022.  She was born April 14, 1951, in El Corazon Tepehuanes Durango, Mexico, to the late Guadalupe and Petra (Diaz) Cano.  Florinda married the love of her life, Feliciano Ricardo Monarrez.  Together they raised four beautiful children and celebrated 25 years of marriage before he passed away on April 15, 2001.

Florinda was a devote and loyal Catholic and instilled the love of Jesus Christ into each of her children and grandchildren.  She was a very social woman who enjoyed talking with people and also dancing, however, what she cherished most was spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Survivors include her four children, Humberto (Marissa) Monarrez, Sandra (Amador) Ramos, Eddie (Kelly) Monarrez, and Alejandro (Jessica) Monarrez; grandchildren, Gilberto (Veronica), Natalia, Israel, Crystal, Isaias, Ricardo, Jayden, Abigail, Isaac, Elias, and Itzel; siblings, Elvira, Nicolas, Guillermina, and Samuel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Florinda was preceded in death by her husband, Feliciano; her parents; and her brothers, David and Gilberto.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m. at Shrine of St. Francis Xavier & Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 250 Brown Street S.E., Grand Rapids, MI.  Visitation will continue on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church with Rev. Jose Quintana officiating.  Burial will take place at El Pantion, Los Bagres, in Los Bagres Tepehuanes Durango, Mexico.
