Doris enjoyed crocheting (having made countless baby outfits and afghans for family and friends), drawing and painting, feeding the birds, and cooking (if you stopped in to visit her, you never left hungry), but most of all she delighted in time spent with her family.

Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Brockway Wesleyan Church, 10951 3 Mile Road at 110th Avenue, Morley, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.  Due to the governor’s emergency order, church capacity is limited to 100 persons and masks are required.  Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for committal services at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at Riverside Cemetery, Langston.

The Rev. Roger Cooper, former pastor of Brockway Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Envelopes for memorial contributions to Brockway Wesleyan Church or the charity of one’s choice will be available at the church.

Thoughts and prayers for the family during this time of grieving. It sounds like she was a wonderful woman to be family or friend with. Her memories will carry on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, while her spirit dances with Jesus. May the Lord’s love and comfort carry you through these difficult times.
