My family and I have known Don and Dottie for 33 years (and counting). We can’t think of one without the other. They have been our surrogate aunt and uncle and are quite literally two of the finest people we have known.

When we think of Don, we remember a man who was wise, kind, and generous, and for which nothing seemed too much or difficult. Don was devoted to Dottie and their family, he worshiped Jesus with joy, and he served God’s people constantly. His arrival in Heaven must have been something to behold. Don Dooley was a gentleman, and you can spell that as one word…or two. Psalm 1:1-3.

I’m praying for the families peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Don and Dotty were/are very special people filled with Godly wisdom and hospitality. My husband and I spent many wonderful evenings for many years at Don and Dotties home in Traverse City in a small group. They both ministered to all of us in so many ways. We love you both and will see you again. Jeff and Kim Kowalski

Through the years at Faith Reformed Church, it was a joy to be greeted by Don and Dottie. They always had a warm smile and the kindest hello. Both Don and Dottie radiate the light and love of Christ. Love, Prayers and Hugs for Dottie and their entire family as they celebrate this wonderful man and a “life well lived”.

    Dottie and family –
May our Lord bless you and keep you, and give you a special sense of His presence and love in this difficult time.
It was a joy to know you both, and talk with you at church. Some of my old memories are of working on Twin Bay’s computer system, and seeing the two of you square-dancing on a float in the Heritage parade many years ago.
The hope of eternal life in Christ is paramount at a time like this. What a comfort, that as the apostle Paul said “…we grieve, but not as those who have no hope.” (1 Thess 4:13). Because of Jesus and His love, our hope is sure!
    In Christ,
    Fred
