Diane Marie Shiner Triplett, age 77, of Wayland, went to fly with the angels on Saturday, August 1, 2020.  Diane was born April 18, 1943, in Grand Rapids, MI. She was the daughter of Olive Harwood, mother of 3 wonderful sons, and a friend to all. Diane was a longtime member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. She had a strong passion for the Indian culture and genealogy, that she spent 40 plus years working on. Diane made sure everyone knew her home was open to anyone in need. If someone didn’t have a place to go, they were welcomed as part of her family. She enjoyed having a cup of coffee and watching NASCAR with her close friends; Joyce, Larry and Donna. Rarely ever, did you see Diane mad, she was a happy go lucky kind of person and made everyone around her equally as happy. She always looked forward to her monthly shopping trips to Project Hope and the yearly family gatherings. She had a special and unique bond with each grandchild. It made her happy to spend copious amounts of time simply being their grandma. Diane was truly one of a kind. Her infectious smile, and generous spirit will forever be missed.

She was welcomed into heaven by her grandson; Butch Huffman, late husband; Ralph Huffman I, and daughter in law; Lynda Huffman.

Left to cherish her memories are her 3 sons, Ralph Huffman II, Douglas (Mike Bunch) Huffman, and Dennis (Michelle) Huffman; grandchildren, Tony, Erisa (Adam) Kik, Dennis, Derek, Makaila, and Brandon and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be arranged at a later date when covid-19 pandemic has subsided.
