David Wayne Snyder, age 64, of Cedar Springs, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at home under the loving care of his family.  The son of Richard Henry & Betty Ann (Beak) Snyder, he was born on April 21,1957 in Muskegon.  On September 15, 2001, in Cedar Springs, he married Tammy Stowe, and together they enjoyed 20 years of marriage and a lifetime of treasured memories.

Dave and his partner of 35 years, Terry Kiel, owned and operated West Michigan Septic & City Sewer.  He was a skilled tradesman,  was an active member of MSTA, serving numerous years as president.

Dave was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved taking off in his motorhome, with his wife, camping all over Michigan.  He especially loved time around campfire, with family and friends, as well as hunting, ice fishing, boating, NASCAR, and NHRA.  However, his greatest joy was his family and the memories that were made through the years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Snyder.  Surviving are his wife, Tammy Snyder; children, Krista Bowyer, Douglas & Brandi Snyder, Nicole & Daniel Bradish, and Ryan & Kate Gravelle; his mother, Betty Snyder; seven grandchildren, Mallory, Kendall, Payton, Karenza, Nolan, Wesley, and Grace; two sisters, Brenda Peebles and Barb & Joe Snyder-Ravelingeen; his parents-in-law, Frank & Judy Stowe; his sister-in-law, Wendy & Douglas Potts; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, DJ & LuAnn DeKuiper.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dave’s life will be held in the summer.  To send a message of sympathy to the family, sign his online guest book, or to share a favorite memory, please visit:  www.MichiganCremation.com
