David passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 4, 2020 at the age of 91.  He was the oldest child of Jerome and Elsie Kaiser and was born on August 25, 1928 in Detroit, MI.

He began his career as a hospital pharmacist; establishing and managing the inpatient pharmacy at Cottage Hospital in Detroit.

In 1959 he moved to Kalamazoo where he began his career as a Pharmaceutical Chemist for the Upjohn Company and met his future wife, Nancy.  They were married in Kalamazoo in 1961.

He served as the director of Drug Metabolism for the Upjohn Company for several years before eventually retiring in 1995 as a distinguished scientist.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy (Sackett) and a wonderful family.  Son, David W. Kaiser (Robin) of Muskegon, MI and daughter, Catherine Kaiser of Grand Rapids, MI, sister Carol (Gerald) Harrell, sister-in-law Ruthann (Travis) White, a brother Calvin (deceased), several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin Street, Jenison, MI on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helen Devos Childrens Hospital.
