Connie Korzilius Graff, 62, of Kalamazoo passed into the arms of Jesus on June 30, 2020 at Bronson Hospital. The Daughter of Josef P. Korzilius & Esther Irene (De Bree) Korzilius, she was born on April 15, 1958.
Connie loved to travel. She enjoyed needle point and quilting until she was no longer physically able. She enjoyed music from the classical (particularly Bach) to the Beatles and loved playing the piano. Duplicate bridge was her passion – often playing 4-5 days a week at the local club and traveling throughout the United States to play in sectional, regional and national tournaments.
She was preceded in death by her father, Josef and is survived by her mother, Esther Korzilius; children, Rebecca (Dean) Kerl, and Timothy (Christy) Graff; siblings, Josef M. (Joan) Korzilius, and Brian Korzilius; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews scattered throughout the US.
She is also survived by her significant other and duplicate bridge partner of 15 years, David Shafer of Kalamazoo.
Due to the current covid restrictions, the memorial service is postponed until the Zion Lutheran Church of Kalamazoo reopens.
