Carl Alan Lee Denton, age 32, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020.  He was born April 15, 1988, in Grand Rapids, to Lee Denton and Terri Jo Brandt.  Carl was very artistic and had a passion for doing tattoos. He enjoyed skateboarding, body piercings, reading, riding bicycles, camping, fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers football games. Carl was very compassionate, caring, and loving. He loved spending time with his family & friends, especially his daughter, Grace and his fiancé, Amanda. Everyone who met him or knew him loved him. He was exceptionally intelligent and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.

Survivors include his parents, Lee Denton and Terri Brandt; daughter, Grace Lynn Denton; sister, Brandy Denton; girlfriend, Amanda Winson; nephews, Cayden and Logan Denton and Damion Markel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by his infant brother, Joseph Denton; maternal grandparents, Donald and Joan Brandt; paternal grandfather, Jack Denton; aunts, Donna Pachulski and Janice Brandt; and uncle, Greg Brandt.

Per Carl’s wishes cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life will take place and details will be posted as soon as they become available.
