Brian Jay Reighard, age 66, of Gowen and formerly of Montana, passed away on December 10, 2021 at home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Dennis A. & Peggy M. (Smiley) Reighard, he was born on June 8, 1955 in Helena, Montana. On May 20, 1980, in Virginia City, Montana, he married Myrna Rae Sandvicken-Grund who survives.

Brian enjoyed fishing, watching the Lions play football, and loved sitting around a fire drinking beer and telling stories. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis; a son, Gary Grund; and  two brothers, Gary Reighard and Mike Reighard.

Surviving are his wife, Myrna Reighard; his mother, Peggy Reighard; his children, Angel Halsten, Adam Martin, Margie Butler, Bobby & Gina Grund, Shelly & Tony Sheltrown, and Amy & Kelly Crowley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Tom Reighard, Dennis “Dino” & Shannon Reighard, Gerald & Laurie Reighard, Shirley & Mike Roloff, and Phyllis Farman; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

    Was so sad to hear of Brian’s passing. I knew him when we were kids in butte Montana. Was a good childhood friend.

    i didn’t know pappy for too long but he always had great stories to tell me, and always had a smile on his face when i saw him. RIP Pappy 🕊🕊🕊
