Arthur Richard Wise, age 61, of Gowen, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born May 12, 1961, in Greenville, MI to the late Carl and Roberta (Sinclair) Wise. Art graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1979. During high school, Art completed an apprenticeship at Greenville Tool and Die, which started his career path in the tool and die industry. He was currently employed at Datum Industries and worked at multiple other companies prior to that. Art was a well-respected mentor and known for being the best at his craft. When he wasn’t working Art enjoyed working in his garden, making summer sausage, and participating in the CMP National Matches, and most of all taking the grandkids for ice cream rides in his 1995 Bronco. He was a very detail-oriented type of guy that was happy to remind you if something wasn’t quite right.

Art was a member at Cadillac Sportsmen’s Club, and Flat River Conservation Club. He was a lover of American Muscle Cars. The 1969 GTO Judge being his favorite.

Survivors include his pride and joy, (The Kid) also known as his son, Carl (Lori Abrahams) Wise; longtime girlfriend, Nancy Compton; grandchildren, Noah, Natalie, Liam, Annabelle, Even, and Jesse; his friend “The Hairy Beast Tom” and many cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Art was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doug Wise.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life is being planned, details will be announced as soon as they become available. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to M1 for Vets.  https://everloved.com/life-of/arthur-wise/
