Candi, I know you wouldn’t remember me, but I remember your mom and grandmother from New Hope Church back in the late ’50s when it was located at Finney and Bartlett. I remember my mother giving your grandmother rides from church sometimes. Your mother was a lovely person, and although I am little bit younger than she is, I always admired her. She and one of my cousins, Mylice Hitchcock were dear friends, too. I am sorry for your loss of a dear mom and sweet person. May you cherish the memories and find comfort in them and in the comfort that God alone can give.
