Aaron Todd Gilman, age 48, of Wayland, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his sons and fiancé, on Monday, April 17, 2023.  He was born April 13, 1975, in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Tony and Mary (Doubblestein) Gilman.

If you knew Aaron, you knew how much heart was put into everything he had a passion for. Aaron was the type of guy to tell you what you needed to hear, and never what you wanted. He would’ve done anything to take care of the people he loved, at any given moment. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, at the MX track, hunting and fishing, golfing and anything outdoors. He spent the last couple years traveling, racing, doing what he loved and living life to the fullest. His legacy will carry on with the people he held dearest.

Survivors include his two sons, Tyler and Taten Gilman; grandchildren, Iris and Ember Gilman; fiancé, Shelly Tallman, and her daughters, Lila and Luna Webb.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary.

Per Aaron’s wishes cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life and details will be announced as soon as they become available.
