Zinaida Leonova, age 90, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

The daughter of Vasiliy & Maria (Filippova) Leonov, she was born on April 1, 1921 in the former U.S.S.R. and had worked as a store director. She emigrated to the United States nearly 17 years ago and enjoyed the freedoms afforded to her in the United States.

Survivors include a daugher, Inna Gugil of Grand Rapids.

Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
