    Bill & Judy Johnson

As a young lad, I grew up next door the gas company. Bill Foote was always nice to me. As I grew older, in my career at age 42, I became Vice President of the gas company and Bill was one of my finest employees. I always valued him as a person and an employee. He was a fine man. I am sure he will be missed by his family. My sincere sympathy to all. Bill Johnson

    Pat Scanlon

I grew up only a couple doors down from Mr & Mrs Foote –

They were a God-Send to my mother (Etta (Scanlon) Higgins)in the early 1960’s when she was widowed with 5 children under 18.

They stepped up and helped my mother on so many different levels – not the least of which was watching me so that my mom could work. This meant that I spent many days with Mr. & Mrs Foote – many meals and many life lessons learned. Not the least of which was Mr. Foote’s dedication to his family.

On behalf of my mother (who passed away in 1999) and my entire family I want to send my deepest regrets to Stephanie and Kim (and families) but also thank Mr Foote for his kindness and friendship, superior example and care in those early years.
