William Joseph McAlpine, age 84 passed away May 4, 2010 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI. He was born on November 9, 1925 to Jay and Sylvia (Kincald) McAlpine. Surviving him are his children Jack (Marilyn) McAlpine, Jill (Robert) Cady, Janice (Lester) Johnson, Terrance Malley, Joann (Robert) Oberle, and Margaret (Willie) Brown, grandchildren; Christopher Krueger, Jonathan Emery, Jason , Lucas, and Nicolas Larson, Morgan McAlpine, Charles Bila, Robin LaBiche, and Keith Oberle, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, sisters Mary (Charles) Chambers, Shirley Lenk, and Elaine Aumack, and many nieces and nephews. William was preceded by two wives, Margaret(Dunn) McAline and Merriel (Holloway) McAlpine, and two brothers Robert McAlpine, Jack McAlpine, and one sister Ruth Fodo. Graveside services will be held Friday May 7, 2010 at 2 :30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Garden. Family and friends are invited to join the family at Richard Twp. Hall in Hemlock, MI. for a dinner following the service.
