Violet Jean Wolgamott, age 75, of Muskegon, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at home.  The daughter of Smith & Betty Jane (Hurley) McLellan, she was born on July 5, 1942 in Lansing.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Andrew W. Wolgamott, Sr.; her children, Andrew Jr. & Patricia Wolgamott of Ravenna, Donna & Mike Schucker of Muskegon, and Chris & Tammy Wolgamott of Coopersville; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Horton of New Era, and Bette Ann & Eugene Flood of Rothbury; two brothers, Benjamin McLellan, and Stanley & Denise McLellan.

Please join the family for visitation at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, Jan. 24th at the Muskegon East Congregation of Jehovah Witness, 3086 E. Apple Avenue, Muskegon, where memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with Elder Jay Laughlin giving the memorial discourse. A luncheon will follow at First Reformed Church, 3327 Mortimer Road, Ravenna.

    Andy and family. So shocked to see that Violet had passed away. Our sympathies. We have known Andy and Jean for a lot of years and had recently visited them in their assisted living facility. May she rest in peace. The Johnsons

    Violet and Andy were next-door neighbors for our daughter chris back to 1991, and they were the vary best. Violet will be missed in many ways.
