Vickie Hofacker, age 61, of Pullman, passed away on March 15th, 2017 at The Wings Home in Allegan, with family by her side.

Vickie was born on July 8th, 1955 in Allegan, daughter of Arnold “Hootch” and Marian (Porter) Jones. Vickie was raised in the Otsego area and married Mark Hofacker of Plainwell on July 27th, 1996. She spent her days as a shift manager for Wendy’s.  She loved taking care of her customers. Her passion was her concession stand (Vic’s Intersection) at Dutch Sport Park in Bloomingdale, where Miss Vickie loved serving hot coffee, Icee popsicles and candy! Vickie enjoyed spending time with her husband while riding their Harley. She also loved spending quality time around family, raising her dogs, camping and bonfires.

Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Arnold “Hootch” and her brother, David Jones.

She is survived by her mother, Marian Jones; husband, Mark Hofacker; children, Michelle (Josh) Bowers, Melisse Hughes (Mark), Michael (Trina) Hughes, Matthew Hofacker (Katie), and Ruthann Bennett (JT); eighteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Bob (Terri) Jones, Robin (Ken) Davis, Arnold (Nora) Jones, Bruce (Ruthann) Jones, Diane (Danny) Conner, and all their families.

Vickie was a very generous, kind and loving person, always putting others before herself.  She could put a smile on anyone’s face, and could make a friend with a perfect stranger.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your local humane society.

I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Vicki but I was blessed to fellowship with her family at Wings of Hope. Vicki had to be a special person, with such a warm outreaching family. Mark, peruse the farm information. God bless this family. I’m the sister of Oscar Blair, who is at Wings of Hope.
