Vera Anne Mihlfeld, age 84, of Greenville, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Metron of Greenville.  The daughter of Bertrum & Nellie (Butler) Lansing, she was born on March 27, 1932 in Dearborn.  On August 16, 1952, also in Dearborn, she married Lester Lyle Mihlfeld and together they raised three children and enjoyed almost 64 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  three sisters, Joyce Lansing, Lucille Courtney, and Mary Olsen;  and a brother,  Bert Lansing.

Surviving are her husband, Lyle Mihlfeld;  three children, Timothy Mihlfeld & Cindy Novak of Belding, Thomas & Laura Mihlfeld of Miami, Florida, and Dr. Tammy Brodie & Rod James of Greenville;  a sister, Ruth & Ben Romans of Howell;  a sister-in-law, Vinita Mihlfeld of Indiana;  her dearly loved grandchildren, Shaun Brodie, Jabob Brodie, Joshua Brodie and his fiancee, Trang Do, Benjamin Brodie and his fiancee, Megan Shinderle, Timothy Mihlfeld, Jr., Ian Zoerman, and Luke Mihlfeld; and several nieces and nephews.
