Travis James Keck, age 41, of Paragould, Arkansas, formerly of Howard City and Holland, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 4, 2005 at his home after a long struggle with poor health. The son of Charles & Rose (Pate) Keck, he was born on Nov. 20, 1963 in Holland, Michigan. Travis tried to live the life of a good Christian and enjoyed fishing and reading.
Surviving are five brothers and sisters, Donnie Keck and Annie Danfeild of Holland, Buddy Keck of Arkansas, Linda & Al Schmeling of Howard City, Sandy Threat and Gary Reed of Rockford, and Terry & Buddy Vedder of Howard City; several aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005 from Bills Lake Baptist Church, Newaygo, with Pastor Rick Tuttle officiating. Visitation is at the church on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Travis. Envelopes will be available at the church.
