Tim L. Purdy, age 48, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  The son of Thomas William & Jonadene Doreen (Green) Purdy, he was born on August 12, 1970 in West Branch and was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School.  Following high school, Tim proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked at Metal Technologies.

On May 4, 2001, he married Rebekah Lynn Millard and together they enjoyed 17 years of marriage.  Tim enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, woodworking, reading, writing, drawing/painting,  and spending time with his family and pets. 

Surviving are his wife, Rebekah Purdy of Greenville;  his children, Devin & Kristyn Purdy of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Alyssa Purdy & Greg Mladucky of Washington, D.C., Kristopher & Samantha Purdy of Midland, Barrett Purdy, Erin Purdy, and Chase Purdy, all of Greenville;  his mother, Jonadene Lupnitz of Owosso;  his father and step-mother, Tom & Terry Purdy of Gladwin;  his siblings, Rona & Chad Collier, Ken & Kristin Michael, Roberta & Scott Louma, Jane & Steve Helt, and Scott & Kayla Purdy;  parents-in-law, Church Millard & Debra Pratt;  siblings-in-law, Philip & Jennifer Millard, and Rachel Gilbert & Dan Courser;  several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews;  and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Tim's life from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Eureka Township Hall, 9322 S.W. Greenville Road (M-91), Greenville.  Honoring Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Instead of flowers, relatives and friends are asked to consider donations to Tim's Go Fund Me account at:
