Terry Lee Powers, age 52, of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at home surrounded by family. The son of Marvin & Alice (Huey) Powers he was born on April 28, 1965 in Greenville. 

He loved spending his time outdoors no matter the weather. He was an avid ice fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed hunting for mushrooms. 

Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Tosha Powers;  by his parents; and by many aunts & uncles.  Surviving are his  loving wife, Elizabeth Powers; daughter, Paige Armstrong; son, Austin Ellsworth; two brothers, Marvin Powers, and Destrey Powers; as well as two great nieces, Payten & Riley Wilkerson; and great nephew, Kobey Wilkerson. 

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Terry’s life beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Lowell Church of the Nazarene, 201 N. Washington Street, Lowell, with a luncheon following.

    R.I.P Uncle Terry I love you and miss you but you are now at peace looking over all of us. Tell grandma and grandpa I love them and miss them so much. You are now one of our angels looking over Aunt Liz and the kids!!

    Rest in peace Terry. Sure am going to miss hunting and fishing with my little buddy Terrance. I liked to call him Terrance. It was a good way to get him fired up… So sorry for Liz.

    Cathy and I are very sorry for your loss. Terry was one of a kind. Glad we got to meet him. We know he is pain free now and hanging with Eddie and Mr. Jim for sure.
