Terry Lyn Brown, age 56, of Gowen, passed away Sunday morning, August 2, 2015 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The son of Charles & Dixie (Dent) Brown, he was born on September 30, 1958 in Grand Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  and two brothers, Kevin Brown and Scott Brown.  Surviving are his wife, Sue Ann VanTuinen of Gowen;  his children, Donald & Jackie Thomas of North Carolina, Jennifer VanTuinen of Greenville, Jeremiah Brown & Jenna Hayslip of Sidney, Joseph Brown & Molly Stiehl of Greenville, Jessica Brown & Zachariah Garlock of Gowen;  six grandchildren;  a sister, Denise Parks of Wyoming;  a sister-in-law, Sue Brown of Wyoming;  and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Terry's life from 2 to  6 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the family's home.   Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. 

Instead of flowers, contributions in memory of Terry may be directed to the family.
