Steven Craig Higbee, age 66, of Belding, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice.  The son of Gordon & Addie E. (Selleck) Higbee, he was born on February 17, 1949 in Ionia and worked at Light Metals Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include his wife, Debra J. Higbee of Belding;  and their children, Shelle Funk of Grattan, Kelly Higbee, Lisa Nunez, Bonnie Lollis, all of Belding, Amy Evans of Ionia, Amanda Veenstra, Elizabeth Veenstra, Kayci Veenstra, Charles Higbee, Chelsee Higbee, and Syenda Higbee, all of Belding.

    I just found out about Steve’s passing today. My prayers are with you Deb and Shelly, Kelly and Bonnie. I didn’t know the other children but my prayers are with the other children. God Bless All of You in this time of sorrow.
