Sue, We extend our sympathies to you and Emily on the loss of Steve. Our memories go back a long way. Jerry enjoyed working with Steve, hunting with him and just visiting and drinking a beer with him. We admired his many skills and still have the rocking chair he turned a spindle for. We will forever treasure our balloon ride and remember you both as we continue to savour recipes that have your names attached. Steve was a fine man and a good friend who will not be forgotten. We will be with you in spirit as you gather to celebrate his life and look forward to getting together with you soon.

    Dear Sue,

I was so sad to read of Steve’s death. Having lost my beloved John more than 15 years ago, I can certainly say I know how you feel. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. I will always remember your stories of his hot air balloon days when we worked together at Dr. Dykstra’s office.
My sincere sympathy to you and Emily,
    Keeping you close in prayer,
    Lynn Plummer Trestrail

A unique wonderful man. He was born with a vitality and zest for life we are unlikely to see again. We are all so fortunate to have known him and Sue and Emily were especially blessed.
