Sandi Sue Christensen, age 55, of Stanton, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The daughter of Fred & Shirley Joan (Gray) Marsh, she was born on July 1, 1961 in Redford Township, Wayne County.
Sandi was a dedicated and passionate caregiver to those she helped in her job with the Montcalm County Commission on Aging… having worked up until three weeks ago, despite battling terminal cancer. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 452 in Stanton and will be long remembered as an amazing cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her faithful canine companion, Thunder. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Steven & Lindsay Christensen of Orleans.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life gathering beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Stanton American Legion Post 452, 337 W. Day Street, Stanton. Instead of flowers, contributions in memory of Sandi to the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion at Spectrum Health would be appreciated (https://give.spectrumhealth.org/donation).

So sorry for your loss Steven. Your mom was a wonderful women. We had lots of fun together back in the day. She is in the arms of the angels now and may she rest in peace.
