Samantha Jeanette Bishop, 26, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 30, 2018. The daughter of Eric Bishop & Traci (Huff) McKenzie, was born September 18, 1992 in Grand Rapids.

Sam will be remembered for her beautiful smile and what a beautiful person she was inside and out. She had a passion for writing and reading poems. She adored her family and friends and loved animals.

She is survived by her father, Eric Bishop; mother, Traci & Marshall McKenzie; fiancé, Nate Sims and his son, Darren Beck; siblings, Sheldon Huff (28) of Grand Rapids, Brittany Bishop (27) of Paw Paw, Brandon Bishop (26) of Clarksville, and Cody Bishop (21) of Grandville; nieces and nephews, Layla Bishop (3) Avery Bishop (1) Hudson Bishop (1); and grandparents, Earlynn & Karen Huff, and Janet & Paul Leatherman.

Samantha was preceded in death by Grandma and Grandpa Helen and Wayne Bishop, and Aunt Cammie Wilson. 

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 1:00pm at 3600 W. Tupper Lake Road, Lake Odessa, Michigan 48849.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this hard time. Sam was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all who and the joy of knowing her.

    I know that your not suffering anymore, but i want you to know that i love you and miss you so much. you were such a beautiful woman and i was proud to call you my twin sister. Until we meet again, Rest In Heaven bud, i love you Sammy J.
