Rozella Schumacher, age 66, of Kalamazoo, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.  She was born March 29, 1953, in Kalamazoo to the late William and Doris (Burnett) Gerritsen. 

Rozella is survived by her four children, Elaine and Jason Schumacher, Lannie (Tim) Burgess, and Jamie Schumacher,  and three brothers, Eugene, William (Lina), and Joseph Gerritsen.

    I am very saddened to hear of Rosie’s passing. She and her family were neighbors and friends to me and my family growing up. She was one of my sisters best friends. She would see her occasionally on vine street yrs ago but havent sen he in a few yrs. Missed talking to her. Hugs and prayers to the family. She will be missed. :( R.I.P. Rosie
