Roselie M. "Rose" Beemer, age 85, of Gowen, passed away Thursday evening, August 6, 2015 at her home under the loving care of her family and Gentiva Hospice. The daughter of George & Hattie (Sharp) Badge, she was born on June 19, 1930 in Six Lakes.
On Feb. 27, 1960, in Greenville, she married Garold Dale Beemer and together they raised six children and enjoyed 45 years of marriage until Dale passed away on July 6, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, George Cox; a son-in-law, Pat Cooper; a brother, Donald Badge; and four sisters, Virginia McGuire, Peg Cogswell, Betty Beemer, and Marie "Mert" Beemer.
